![]() Kathy's beautiful smile could light up the whole room. For the past 21 years, Kathy worked for the City of Joplin in the Parks and Recreation Department, Cemeteries and Community Development. She graduated from Parkview High School in 1976. Kathryn Marie Hosp was born in Joplin on May 12, 1958, to Kenneth V. on March 31, 2009, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. (March 31, 2009) Kathy Marie Jensen, age 50, was called to be with our Lord and Savior at 9:33 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association in care of Parker Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Services are planned for Saturday at 10 a.m. Survivors include her children, Linda Hull, Independence, Mo., Pam Kiser, Fayetteville, Ark., and Robin Brown, Joplin eight grandchildren three and half great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. In addition to Homer and her parents, Corinne was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn in 1942. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1987. Most recently she had been involved with home health care for the elderly. Anne's Christian School in El Paso, Texas, where she also taught kindergarten and she taught English at Kennedy School in Queretaro, Mexico. She formerly worked as the Christian education director at Grace Episcopal Church, of Carthage, she was the former director of education at St. She graduated from high school and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education. ![]() Carmen was born May 2, 1937, in Carthage, Mo., daughter of the late John Joel Davis and Carmelita Moreno Davis. Courtade, age 71, Joplin, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at 10:10 a.m. There will be a memorial visitation held on Saturday, September 10th, 2022, in Parker Mortuary Chapel from 2:00-5:00 p.m.Īrrangements are under the care of Parker Mortuary.(March 31, 2009) Carmen D. Joy is survived by her two children, Yancy McKnight and wife, Lynn, of Lucas, Texas, and Chance Halseth, of Joplin, Missouri daughter-in-law, Merrie Tang three amazing grandchildren that she loved dearly, Mollie Halseth, Brody McKnight, and Brock McKnight one aunt, Phyllis Stites one nephew, Michael Hardy a great niece, Alexandria Hardy. Joy was preceded in death by her mother, who she referred to as her best friend, Jackie Hardy her father, Joe Hardy two brothers, Randy Hardy and Mark Hardy and a nephew Austin Hardy. Her kind heart, and her amazing social skills, is what made Joy, a joy to be around. Joy was always on the go, staying busy, and helping others. She would always go above and beyond to create the ultimate meal for you. She has happily cooked for many, whether it was for her son's football team, co-workers, family, friends and, of course, her holiday meals were like no other. She was an amazing cook, and so many people can attest to this. She worked many jobs throughout the Joplin area that entailed her working with people, food, or both. Joy was the ultimate people person who loved to cook. She moved to the Joplin area around 1970. Joy was born March 12th, 1952, in Sheldon, Missouri, to the union of Joe and Jackie (Stites) Hardy. Joyce "Joy" Josette Halseth, age 70, Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 20th, 2022.
